COWORKING4YOUTH

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We live in a rapidly changing society where it is essential that everyone has the capacity to act upon opportunities and ideas, to work with others, to manage dynamic careers and shape the future for the common good.

To achieve these goals we need people, teams and organisations with an entrepreneurial mindset, in every aspect of life.

EC has made 2023 the European Year of Skills. The Skills Agenda aims to improve the relevance of skills in the EU to strengthen sustainable competitiveness, ensure social fairness and build our resilience. It does this through 12 “actions”oneof which is : fostering entrepreneurial skills.

The agenda is built on the many EU initiatives already ongoing like European Skills Agenda which says a step change is necessary to put a focus on the develoopment of entrepreneurial skills.

COWORKING4YOUTH project intends foster entrepreneurial attitudes, stimulate key competencies and provides new models of business operations in rural environments.Coworking spaces can be the drivers for business development and innovation, by boosting talents potential and by creating synergies and networking opportunities among entrepreneurs and people able to fight against specific territorial challenges. They become local points of information and knowledge sharing and could activate rural areas by building social capital and creating new jobs (or opportunities for work) in the local community.
